Evmos differentiates itself by becoming the first EVM-compatible blockchain within the Cosmos Ecosystem. It plays a critical role in enabling interoperability and communication between Ethereum based applications and Cosmos Ecosystem chains. Building on Evmos allows you to have immediate access to large audiences in multiple chains, low transaction fees, fast transaction speeds, and security provided by proof of stake consensus.

As the Web3 funding & incubation vehicle funded by Huobi Incubator, Web3Scholarship sees the huge potential within the Evmos community and is deeply invested in Evmos growth. Web3Scholarship is very happy to partner with the Evmos community to start Evmos’s first ever Hackathon on July 18th to seed and support the developments of the Evmos ecosystem.

Evmos Get Momentum Global Hackathon is seven weeks long, the project submission period is from July 18, 2022 to August 31, 2022 5:00PM Eastern Time. Teams are welcome to submit projects anytime in advance of the August 31st deadline.

The total prize pool for the hackathon is $500,000, splitting up between the grand prize, track prizes, and EVM migration award. There will also be additional funding opportunities from Huobi Incubators and partners. Sponsors and judges include ICF, Iris net, Devpost, Dorahacks, Builderstribe, Fundamental, Ethereal Ventures, Figment Capital, Maven11 Capital, Hashkey, SNZ, and more coming soon.

What to Submit

Provide a URL to your code repository for judging and testing OR a link to a functional, deployed application. If your code repository is private, you must share access with testing@devpost.com prior to the deadline.
Include a video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public.
